What you'll do

In your new role, you'll assist the business in the delivery of its strategic objectives by supporting core corporate governance and decision making forums, providing coordinated and consistent professional support and advice.

You’ll also:

  • Deliver excellent administrative support and assistance to the company secretaries
  • Support and organise board, committee or senior executive meetings, including the timely issue and distribution of board papers and drafting meeting agendas and minutes
  • Act as a contact point for general company secretarial questions and assist subsidiaries and other teams as required
  • Assist in the development and implementation of actions, policies and procedures to minimise risk
  • Act as secretary to subsidiary companies as and when required

The skills you'll need

You’ll need to hold a professional qualification such as a Chartered Secretary, or have equivalent experience. You should also have comprehensive company secretarial and administrative experience, preferably gained within the financial services industry.

You’ll also need:

  • Knowledge of Company Law and regulatory requirements
  • High quality interpersonal skills and influencing skills, with the ability to work well in a team and in a matrix environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, up to executive level
  • The ability to deliver pragmatic and commercial solutions and advice in a high pressured environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
