Branch Manager

Join us as a Branch Manager

  • Take on a new role, where you’ll be making sure that your team develop relationships with their customers and build the branch in the local community
  • You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the branch, scheduling employees to meet customer demand and running the costs, security and maintenance
  • Your leadership will be vital in creating a team culture of providing outstanding customer service

What you'll do

With customers at the heart of your role, you’ll be leading, coaching and inspiring a branch team to provide a great customer experience in each and every interaction. We’ll look to you to achieve the branch's financial performance goals with an effective team strategy to provide customers with financial products that meet their needs and requirements.

You’ll also be:

  • Motivating the team to success by setting out clear goals, nurturing a team bond, providing effective problem solving and leading by example
  • Monitoring performance against agreed customer service targets, conducting weekly excellence alerts, monthly feedback scores, mystery shops and concerns management
  • Implementing and maintaining a branch business plan for service improvement, with regular reviews against progress
  • Leading and supporting your team to improve their ongoing product knowledge, with weekly and daily team meetings and communication sessions
  • Meeting divisional and business objectives with regular assessments from area managers

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll have the ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver excellent customer service. You’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to explain our products and services with clarity, and coach others to do so.

We'll need you to have a QFA qualification or at least an APA qualification in Loans, Regulations & Investments.

You’ll also need:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully prioritise

  • The ability to generate a culture of continual improvement through coaching
  • A background in using leadership tools and techniques
