Regulatory Senior Analyst

Join us in Dublin and Belfast as a Regulatory Senior Analyst

  • We're looking for someone to take on a new challenge, and put their risk management and influencing skills to use
  • You'll gain valuable exposure, engaging with senior stakeholders and play a critical role in the design and implementation of key new compliance risk policies
  • We'll look to you to develop a good understanding of the regulatory universe in which UBIDAC operates and areas of the bank that are responsible for managing the compliance risk associated with those regulatory requirements
  • Your passion for delivering outstanding levels of service will ensure we exceed our customers' expectations at all times
  • This role is available for an initial period of 12 months

What you'll do

In this role you'll be fundamental in supporting the team on how the bank documents regulatory requirements into our policies and the alignment of the bank’s risk and control assessments (RCAs) to those policies.

Another key part of the role will be supporting the coordination and management of the relevant business areas in completing policy mapping, providing guidance to stakeholders on approach and tracking progress to completion.

You’ll also be:

  • Engaging with policy owners and their teams to support them in mapping their regulatory requirements
  • Supporting policy owners and first line of defence controls teams on policy mapping activities and adapting training materials to new insights and learnings
  • Supporting the roll out of a new technology solution for policy mapping purposes
  • Seeking feedback from users of policy maps, amending tracked changes to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency
  • Reviewing the quality of policy mapping outcomes and championing a consistent standard

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll have experience in working with a range of stakeholders in completing new or project based activities with the objective of improving risk management process and enhancing the internal control environment. You'll also have a desire to develop your knowledge and experience in managing and leading compliance or risk management activities through to completion across the three lines of defence.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • A good understanding of the policy and control environment 
  • Willingness to learn about regulatory driven change and managing the regulatory risk profile of a business
  • Experience of senior stakeholder engagement and influencing others to adopt new processes and new ways of working
  • Strong listening and observation skills and attention to detail and attention to detail
