HR Business Partner

The Requirements

We're hiring an HR Business Partner to join us in Dublin

  • If you have extensive experience in strategic HR roles and excellent relationship management skills, this is a chance to join our HR leadership team
  • You'll be a trusted partner to our business, guiding them in developing and deploying people plans which facilitate our business strategy
  • By putting in place effective people plans you'll in turn be helping to deliver better results for our customers through a motivated and engaged workforce

What you'll do

By being fully immersed in the journey to business success, and by understanding its goals, you will have a key part to play in ensuring that the bank’s people plan is aligned to our overall strategy.

You'll play a key role in employee engagement and culture, talent management, reward, performance management, and organisational design and change, as well as playing a crucial part in shaping the people strategy and building capability within the business.

You'll also:

  • Work with the HR centres of excellence to deliver services through agreed, consistent and functionally aligned operating models
  • Partner with business leaders, providing thoughtful advice, counsel diagnostic, analysis and decision support regarding people plans and strategy
  • Adjust HR strategies and priorities in response to changing business needs
  • Provide input to and overview of the management of people risks, making sure we have the right mechanisms to identify, report on, manage and mitigate risk
  • Comply with all bank policies and deliver against regulatory and legal obligations
  • Ensure your own professional capability and ongoing development meets the needs of the bank

The skills you'll need

You'll have a wide range of HR knowledge across all core disciplines, with particular emphasis on change management, and stakeholder management at a senior level. You'll have the ability to manage and influence the service received from HR colleagues, and effectively broker the relationship between the business and the HR team, so you'll need the strong relationship skills and credibility to manage that partnership effectively.

We'll also be looking for:

  • Previous business partnering experience within a large, complex organisation, ideally in financial services or another regulated sector
  • Evidence of operating with senior business teams, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • A broad understanding of employment legislation
