Join us as an HR Business Partner in Dublin

  • Joining our HR leadership team, you'll partner with the business to develop and deploy people plans to enable our business strategy
  • Through our people plans, you'll help our employees continually improve the service they provide for our customers

What you'll do

By being fully immersed in the journey to business success, and by understanding its goals, you'll have a key part to play in ensuring that the bank’s people plan is aligned to the overall strategy for the bank. You'll play a key role in employee engagement and culture, talent management, reward, performance management, organisational design and change. You'll also play a crucial part in building capability within the business

As well as this, you'll:

  • Work with the HR Centres of Excellence to deliver services through agreed consistent and functionally aligned operating models
  • Partner with business leaders, providing thoughtful advice, counsel diagnostic, analysis and decision support regarding people plans and strategy
  • Adjust HR strategies and priorities in response to changing business needs
  • Provide input to, and overview of the management of people risks which exist in the business area, ensuring mechanisms are in place to identify, report, manage and mitigate risk within a defined risk appetite
  • Comply with all bank policies and deliver against regulatory and legal obligations
  • Ensure your own professional capability and on-going development meets the needs of the bank

The skills you'll need

You'll have a wide range of HR knowledge across all core HR disciplines, with particular emphasis on change management, and stakeholder management at a senior level. You'll have the ability to manage work among your HR colleagues, and effectively broker the relationship between the business and the HR team. As such, you'll have the relationship skills and credibility to manage partnerships effectively.

You'll also need:

  • Demonstrable evidence of operating with senior business teams and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Extensive HR experience across various areas
  • A broad understanding of employment legislation

Previous business partnering experience within a large, complex organisation, preferably in the financial services or other regulated sector would be beneficial.
