Join us as a Relationship Manager at Ulster Bank in Dublin

  • As a Relationship Manager, you'll provide a market leading service to existing Private eligible customers by building relationships, providing expert advice and helping customers with their financial needs and ambitions
  • You'll proactively manage and develop a portfolio of Private customers, and you'll be helping us on our journey towards becoming Ireland’s most helpful bank

What you'll do

You'll proactively manage and develop a portfolio of Private customers in your region. This will involve travelling to meet customers, developing a deep understanding of their financial needs and discussing how we can best support them. You'll be delivering outstanding customer service at every interaction and maintaining the highest levels of credit stewardship and risk management.

In the course of your work you'll be:

  • Conducting financial reviews, structured sales and service needs interviews
  • Developing and implementing a business plan for your portfolio
  • Building a close working relationship with your designated Relationship Assistant and collaborating with colleagues across our Private and Business banking teams, to ensure we have a consistent, joined-up and collaborative approach to delivering for our customers
  • Striving to find innovative way to improve the way we work and serve our customers

By providing this excellent level of service, you'll be helping us generate new business, retain existing custom and reach our business goals in a sustainable, responsible way.

The skills you'll need

We're looking for highly motivated individuals with proven relationship management and customer service experience, and the ability to build successful relationships with clients. You'll need a very strong customer focus, and the ability to deal credibly with valuable high net-worth customers. You'll also need a 'Qualified Finance Adviser' qualification.

We'll also look to you to demonstrate:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to make sound decisions based on astute financial analysis
  • A proactive approach to your work and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • A strong knowledge of relevant banking products and processes 
  • The ability and enthusiasm to travel to meet customers
  • The ability to organise and manage your time effectively
