What you'll do

As Mobile Mortgage Manager, you'll deliver business performance against agreed sales targets relating to new business acquisitions, and lead mortgage delivery. You'll be fundamental to the effective implementation of our mobile mortgage strategy, focusing on customer service, people plans and development. Most importantly with this role, you'll be delivering to a location that suits your customers, and offering a very flexible and unique customer experience.

You'll also be:

  • Working with customers to understand their mortgage needs, and building trusting professional relationships through tailored advice on products and services that would benefit them
  • Explaining the features and benefits of other service channels, enrolling unregistered customers during the appointment
  • Putting in place a targeted customer contact strategy with a clear focus on retention and new business acquisition
  • Delivering a business development model to the existing branch network to achieve mortgage sales, and maintaining on-going customer contact to meet future financial needs
  • Managing your own mortgage pipeline to ensure applications, and leading associated protection cross sales progress to successful draw down and completion

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you'll have the ability to develop new business and identify key areas for growth, both internally and externally. You'll have experience in a customer facing sales role, where you'll have gained the ability to match the right product to the customer's needs and exceed your targets. You'll also be a driven, pro-active self starter with a passion for delivering superior customer service, as well as a fully qualified financial adviser.

As well as this, you'll demonstrate:

  • Business development experience in mortgages
  • A good working knowledge of the lending processes, and experience of presenting and packaging lending proposals, specifically mortgages
  • Strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to utilise your time effectively, and gain the best outcomes for our customers
