What you'll do

In this varied role, you'll be a key member of the Products team for our Ireland customers, and part of the wider Customer Experience and Products family helping the business to achieve our ambition of becoming Ireland's number one bank for customer service, trust and advocacy.

You'll prepare and deliver proposals to effect changes that meet customer needs and income targets. You'll be analysing and interpreting customer insights and using market and competitor intelligence data to make recommendations on product initiatives, with a dual focus on customer needs and income growth opportunities.

Other aspects of your role will include:

  • Ensuring a customer centric approach to all product related activities, including providing challenge and identifying improvements to the customer experience
  • Coordinating, planning and implementing change initiatives which support the Commercial Cards business as well as operational change activity
  • Supporting front line teams in investigating customer complaints and querie, resolving them in good time, before conducting root cause analysis and implementing a solution to avoid future re-occurrence
  • Being responsible for identifying issues and risks and managing and escalating as required

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone who is customer focused and has a clear understanding of the wider issues impacting the financial services industry. You'll have a thorough understanding of Republic of Ireland legislation and will be well versed in industry trends, particularly as they relate to online banking and payments.

We'll also expect you to demonstrate:

  • Experience of using a strategic approach to deliver products or projects which enhance customer experience
  • Experience of issue and risk management to resolution
  • A strong track record of meeting objectives to time and budget targets
  • A collaborative approach to your work, including across organisational boundaries
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both oral and written
